    Lay it down

    Letters from God

Cast your burden on the LORD [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail).”  ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭55:22‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Beloved, how long do you want to carry that burdensome baggage with you? It’s hindering your walk. It’s slowing you down. It’s keeping you from reaching out to help others. It’s a burden, one that I don’t want you to carry. Could you lay it down? Lay it down at my feet and trust in my provision?

I’m asking you beloved. Asking you to lay down the burdens that worry and fear have laid on your heart. These rocks make you heavy laden. They tell you that you can’t do it, you’re not good enough. My child, lay them down at my feet. Do not worry! Do not fear! I am a good Father. I will take care of you. Always. Take courage for I will not leave you or forsake you. Be of good cheer, for I am with you and I have overcome this world. There’s nothing this world can throw at you that you can’t overcome when you’re with Me. No thing and no one is able to take you from My arms. Stay with me and I’ll provide for you. I promise you’ll never walk alone.

Beloved, lay down the baggage. Lay it down at my feet. At the foot of the cross. Lay it down and walk away. You can’t walk free and be in freedom when you’re carrying the baggage of the enemy with you. Satan will load upon you so much, until it’s hard to take the next step. It hurts my heart to see My children being burdened down. Struggling under the weight of sin and shame. Carrying the baggage of the enemy. Beloved, the cross wasn’t in vain! The cross was powerful in triumph and still is. Those chains that Satan uses to shackle you, I have broken. You are free. Those worries and fears, the brokenness and guilt, are baggage I don’t ever want you to claim. I know the enemy  hands these out to you, not for your benefit but for your destruction. Come to Me. Lay down the heaviness and let me give you of the heaven that is in Me. Don’t ever be afraid to come to Me. I am for you. I always have been and I always will be.

In love I seek you out and ask you not to forget and take lightly the sacrifice of the cross. You can bring your baggage and lay it down. You honor me when you trust Me. You honor Me when you lay down the burdens that tear you down. Let me be the One you run to when life gets tough, let me be the calm in the center of your storm. I’m here for you. My beloved, I’m here for you.

Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’”
