Pressing in to the heart of Jesus

Today, I pray for you to press in. Press in to the Lord! And as you press in to Him, it will release in you and upon you the fragrant scent of Christ. Let Him perfume you! This is a time of coming home, of being close, of pressing in. Don’t let this world push you away from Christ. Don’t let your circumstances change your position! Now is the time to stay and press closer to the Father!

Pressing in is choosing to praise in the storms. It’s choosing Gods way even when everything and everyone is going against it. It’s choosing the right when it’s not the popular to do so. Pressing in means coming to your Abba Father and giving Him your questions, your struggles, and your pain. It’s trusting Him to comfort you. It’s trusting Him to refresh and revive you. Pressing in to the Word when everything intends to push you away, that is what an abiding soul does!

Jesus was pressed and crushed on our behalf  at the cross. “...He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.” Isaiah‬ ‭53:5‬. He did this so that forevermore not one of His children would have to be crushed by the enemy. So that all who believe will have the power to overcome! His heart has always been to heal anything that is holding us back from fullness of life in Him. Yes, there is hurt and there are tears here. There is pain and sorrow and tribulations. But this all is just a huge reminder to us, that this world is broken and it is not our home. Our home is in the heart of heaven. It’s in Jesus! That is why I pray for you to press in to Him. Press into His heart! Run in to the place where you belong. Here is home!

As you press in to Him, as you trust Him...the oil of His spirit releases upon you peace and His blessings soak into you. His goodness will penetrate deep inside of you and you will be filled with hope. He turns all things for good for those who trust Him. Press in! See how confusion fades! See how fear is drowned in love. Press in! Listen to His heart beat! Apart from Him life is overwhelming and the storms throw you off kilter. But praise God, He gave us this beautiful gift of Jesus!

I pray you press in to Him and become united with His heart. I pray you become one with Him and that His love overshadows and quiets every storm. I pray you will choose to press in in the midst of everything going on right now. And just as grapes going through the press produce the sweetest wine, I pray that same for you. As you press into Jesus through the hard times, He will produce in you the strength needed for the battle. He will pour out His spirit upon you and bless you with power to overcome, with peace to quiet the storm, and saving grace to enable you.

He waits for you. Come! Press in to the glory of heaven. Press in to Jesus! I feel God is asking all of us to take time to press into His heart. Take time to press into His promises. He has promised us His healing, transformation, and abundant life. All that’s left is for us to press in and receive. Let the pressure of this world press you ever closer to the Father and you’ll see that this pressure isn’t going to destroy you. Rather it’s going to produce in you an overflowing river of life, an abundance of blessings, a greater strength and a greater love!

With my whole heart, with my whole life, and with my innermost being, I bow in wonder and love before you, the holy God! Yahweh, you are my soul’s celebration. How could I ever forget the miracles of kindness you’ve done for me? You kissed my heart with forgiveness, in spite of all I’ve done. You’ve healed me inside and out from every disease. You’ve rescued me from hell and saved my life. You’ve crowned me with love and mercy. You satisfy my every desire with good things. You’ve supercharged my life so that I soar again like a flying eagle in the sky!” Psalms‬ ‭103:1-5‬ ‭TPT‬‬
