Pearls of Great Value

I’m sitting here and watching the sun set. It’s always been one of my favorite things in this world. I see God in each and every one and He never fails to amaze me. Every single sunrise, every sunset is unique. It’s like He paints different colors into amazing designs just for me. I hear His voice saying, “I‘m giving you glimpses of heaven’s beauty! I create just to bring a smile to your face and wonder into your heart. Look up and see! Do you see Me? I am here!”

Every sunrise is God saying, “Good morning! Today is a new beginning and it is a gift I give to you. I shine warmth to hug you and give you a reminder that I go with you in every step you take. He‘s saying, Take me with you! I’m ready to bless your day with beauty, with hope and goodness. Here are mercies new, here is a fresh start, a new page and a loud display of “I just love you!”

 I never want to miss the opportunity of saying good morning back to God. I never want to reach the place where I am not thankful for each new day. I never want to take for granted His mercies, His kindness, His love for me, ‘cause He sure never gets tired of painting skies for me!

 Sunsets. Sunsets do me in. Seriously. It’s one beautiful looong goodnight hug rolled up in gift of peacefulness. I love the quiet, the hush moment that falls over the land as the horizon goes from reds and oranges to light pinks and then fades away. Every sunset, He’s saying, “I’ve got you. You can go lie down in peace and sleep. I give you my rest and I’ll restore you as you sleep. Sweet dreams and a good night to you!” 

 How can I not love Him? How can i not see Him? He’s all around me, each and every day, giving and pouring out His love. I love the fact that my God can’t be outdone. I love that He continues to impress Himself upon my heart. I love being loved by Him. He outshines all other loves by far!
