Will you come to the fountain free?

Will you come? I feel that’s the Fathers cry to us right now. Will you just come? I can hear His heart: Come to Me! There’s a table spread for you, let us sit down and we will reason together. Let us sit down and talk. I know there’s a multitude of thoughts and worries within you, come to me and I will comfort your soul. In my presence, says the Lord, there is fullness of joy. In My courts you will find peace. A peace that passes all understanding and  which will stand guard over your heart and mind. Will you come? You who are hopeless, will you come? I will fill you with joy and peace in believing so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. 

 You who are searching for the way, will you come to Me? I am the way and I will reveal to you the way that you should go. Yes, I see you! I see that you are longing for an answer. I am the God who answers you in the day of distress. When you call to me, I will answer you, I will be with you in trouble and I will rescue you. Call to me and I will answer you, and I will tell you, yes, even show you, marvelous and wonderful things which you could never figure out on your own. Only listen to my voice in everything you do, everywhere you go, and I will make your path straight and smooth, removing obstacles that block your way. 

Are you weary? Well, this is for you. The Father says this to you: Cast all your cares upon Me, for I care for you. Though your burdens are many, though they seem so heavy, I will lift them off your shoulders and carry them, I will remove them from you as far as the east is from the west and you shall know them no more. Never forget that the things of God are light and easy, because I am there right beside you to ease the load. Don’t carry the things of the enemy and of this world! They are heavy and burdensome and the enemy means to oppress you with them. Come to Me and I will show you the things which are of Me, they give life and hope! 

 Are you thirsty? Hungry for relief? Come to the fountain! Come to the table! Jesus waits for you. He wants to give you water, life-giving water, and you will never thirst again. He has what you need. His supply will never run out. He sets a table before you, even in the midst of all the struggle and turmoil, and invites you to partake of his goodness. There’s a stream of heavens bounty running before you, towards you, surrounding you on every side. Come, drink! Come, eat and enjoy!

 Are you unsatisfied? He is all sufficient. What are you looking for? Ask and you will receive, knock and the door will be opened, seek and you will find! He is the God of more than enough. He has enough for you with more left over! His bank will never be bankrupt. His barns are overflowing. He is ever increasing, ever expanding. He will exceed your every single dream and expectation. In short, He satisfies! 

  I can hear the Fathers voice to us: Come to Me. The call echoes deep inside my soul. It’s louder now than ever before. He knows what we need before we even realize there is a need. He sees what is coming and He has that which will see us through in the days ahead. That is why His voice is going forth, calling His children to come to Him. In Him is the answer. In Him is the solution. In Him is peace, and hope and strength. Heaven is full of blessings, the storerooms are filled with good stuff! There will never be any lack! For every single need on earth there’s a solution in heaven. I believe that with all my heart. Knowing this is what fills me with confidence. My Father has what I need, and He doesn’t withhold. The question is: Will I come? Will I receive? 

 

God, you have what I need for this moment in time. And you ask me to boldly come to you, confident that you are a good good Father. Let me not come in doubt, nor in unbelief, but fill my heart with confidence in You. I will call to You, I will come to You, for You fulfill Your purpose for me. You send Your faithful love and truth before me to pave the way. It requires courage and strength to walk in faith. It requires light. It requires vision. We ask these from You, Lord. Give us grace upon grace in this hour. Thank you for pouring out Your spirit upon Your sons and daughters, Lord! Pour the oil of joy all over us. You alone are our rock, and our salvation! In you, we will never be shaken. Thank you Father, for every provision, in Jesus name, Amen!
