Aug7FriIn His arms August 7, 2020Hold fast to Jesus!
Holding fast unto Jesus...there's so many times when that is the only thing we can do to find solace. To find peace. Like a little child, just running with arms outstretched, running into His arms, letting Him pick you up. Sometimes, some days..when it's all we can do to just stand, how blessed to be able to be held in arms of love. To just run into His arms and hold on knowing that when His arms are holding you, all is going to be okay. He immerses our pain in the depths of love and we feel and know compassion. He is rays of sunlight and hope, casting our darkness into light. He is a compass, pointing true north. When all around there only seems to be confusion and the question of why?, He is true north, pointing to the truth, showing us the best way.
In times of sorrow and struggle, may you know that His arms are always open wide. I pray you know that He is safe ground. You can run into Love and let Him hold you. He'll never let go. He'll carry you when you're to weak to stand . He'll be your strength. He'll breathe hope and life into every part of you.
Come! Run into His arms. He longs to hold you. His love will hold you tight, ease the pain and help you find solid ground once again. There is nothing on the face of this earth that is as sure and steadfast as God's love. He is so faithful! His grace upholds you, beloved one and it always will. His gracious hands protect you and keep you. Here..you are safe.
I love the words of this old hymn:
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.
When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.
His oath, His covenant, His blood,
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.
Thank you for Your never ending love! We praise Your Holy Name, for in You we find peace and hope for tomorrow. You are so faithful to us. We pray to be filled with the knowledge of how much You love us. You never leave us or forsake us, help this truth to be solid within us! In Jesus name, we pray. Amen
