Pearls of Great Value

I haven’t forgotten.

 

Lord, my God, I will not forget

All that you have done for me. 

I will not forget your sacrifice. 

I will not forget your goodness.

I will open my heart and see

I will be filled with thanksgiving 

For there is You being so good to me.

 

So I ask you to Remind me. 

Remind me not to forget.

Help me to choose to always be 

In position to clearly see

Christ in me, the hope of glory

You have given me this sword 

I lift holy hands to you, my Lord

 

Let my song rise up with the dawn 

Reminding me where I’m from

Let my days be filled with praise

Proclaiming Your sovereign grace

Let this be known of all I am

It doesn’t matter, I’ll be not forgetting 

I press into you, I will chose you.

 

Hungry for your presence,Lord

Crying out for more and more

Never letting go, I cling to You

Help my heart to not forget 

Always You above all else

I don’t ever want to be

Without you all around me. 

 

And this I will say, each and every day: 

I will not go unless You go with me

I will not stay in a place

Where I cannot see Your face

Lord, I desire Your burning truth

Cover me with light  anew 

I can not afford to forget You.
