    Prayer for revival

The one I love calls to me: Arise, my dearest. Hurry, my darling. Come away with me! I have come as you have asked to draw you to my heart and lead you out. For now is the time, my beautiful one. The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth.

Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me.” ‭‭Song of Songs‬ ‭2:10-13‬ ‭

    Abba Father,

We come into your presence with thanksgiving for You are worthy Lord! Your constant love and faithfulness is covering us, completing us, healing us! Our salvation is from You and we press into You for You are our help. We cry out, Lord do not pass us by in this hour!  Sweep our communities and cities, stir up souls to press into You and hunger for Jesus Christ. Stir up our hearts to lay ahold of God. Stir our hearts to pray! Let us be moved to holiness!

I come before you asking for a reviving in our hearts, let us become fully alive in Christ. Let revival among the believers lead to revival of the lost. We ask for help in this time of questions and turmoil. Let the peace that stilled the storm penetrate our hearts as we declare with you, Peace be still! Come, Holy Spirit and speak to us and through us. Come and quiet our hearts, still our anxious thoughts and lead us into the joy of the Lord. We invite you to disrupt our schedule to fulfill Your desire! Come, speak to us! Abba, let us not miss the calling of Your voice. Let us not miss the pouring out of your spirit. Cut through the chaos, the noise. There’s so much noise around us, help us to seek a quiet place and heed your voice. Help us! Papa, help us to seek your face. We acknowledge our mistakes, our stubbornness, our sins, we come to the throne of grace and ask for forgiveness and grace in our time of need.

You are doing a new thing aren’t you? You are making a way. You are creating a new wine, prepare us so that we will be new wine skins that can carry and expand with your glory. You are still moving, You are still doing the miraculous, even in the midst of darkness. Abba, Abba. How great thou art! How mighty and wonderful are the works of your hand. If we continue to sing for a thousand years, Amazing grace how sweet is the sound that saves a wretch like me, it will still not cover it. There will always be one more reason to sing of your grace. One more reason to praise you for all you’ve done and continue to do. I see how revival is here right now in different parts of the world and especially among the younger generation and I have tears. To see people running toward Jesus, just to spend time in His presence, it’s spectacular to me. It is so beautiful and my heart responds, Yes Lord! It’s all coming back to the simple truth of love and people are just hungry to see and know the God of love. Oh Abba! You are enough! Just You.

Papa, we ask for this awakening among the people, even the nations, to see it continue. Help us to see and understand the grace and mercy of God. To know how deep, how high, how wide, how great is your love. Oh, how great is your love and kindness! We pray for a revelation of the fear of the Lord to wash over us cancelling out the spirit of fear in the world. God, work on our hearts, bestow upon us the gift of repentance, surrender, and faith in Yeshua. We ask for great outpouring of your spirit upon all people, touch the youth with holy fire, cleanse us from unrighteousness and prepare us for Your returning. Come, Holy Spirit! Come, Lord Jesus! We long for You. How we long to see You!

Hold the weary, the tired, the broken in your arms today. Refresh them with water from heaven. We pray for a refilling within them of strength, give them streams of joy. Wrap them in your love and I pray that they will rest in your provision. How much you love us! How much you desire us. How much you long for us to be completely whole. For those who are running from you, or struggling for years with issues (like the woman who struggled for 12 years with an issue of blood), I pray for those hearts Lord. I pray that within them they will perceive your invitation to Come! I pray they will be surrounded today with whispers of heaven nudging them toward the throne of grace. We bind the voices of the enemy that is telling them lies and we rebuke the attack on their minds. Heal them by your Word. By your stripes, they are healed! Abba we also pray for the weakest among us, for the most distracted, for the hungry and the thirsty, pierce them with your love till your goodness leads them to repentance and fullness.

Your bride is suffering, bleeding from wounds within and without. How much it must hurt You to see. Move with compassion among us Father. Help us to be your hands and feet, help us to see we can set the captives free. Break off the laziness, the idleness, the blindness from this people! God of grace, pour out a fresh wave of passion upon us. Passion for the lost. Passion to see your church restored. Passion to be more. Lord, come and awaken this bride from slumber. Awaken love and deep affection for Jesus. We call forth with You, Arise and shine! Arise, beloved, for the light has come and His glory shines upon you. Arise, weary one, for the bridegroom is calling. Arise! He’s coming to join His hand with yours and do a mighty work with you. This is the time. Now is the day you have been praying for and waiting for. What an honor it is to be alive today. What an honor it is be here today!  You who have waited on the Lord, you will rise up with wings as eagles. You who have waited on the Lord, you will run and not grow weary! You will walk and not grow faint! This is the moment you’ve been waiting for. You were born for such a time as this. Arise! This is the season. It’s a glory season. The glory of the Lord shines over you! Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face. And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of his glory and grace.

Soldier on. Press into Jesus and do not quit! For the sake of your family, your friends, for the sake of your neighbor and for the nation. Stand fast. Say yes to God and put no limits on what He can do. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up. Soon and very soon you will see the fruits of your labor. Abba, we ask that you will pour out encouragement upon those who have been faithfully running the course. For those who have longed to see the day of fulfillment of promises, we pray that you will give them a fresh cup of hope and fill them with joy and peace in believing. Thank you Abba. Thank you. You are so worthy! You receive all the glory honor and praise, we love you! In Jesus name, amen.

Jesus answered, “If you drink from Jacob’s well you’ll be thirsty again and again, but if anyone drinks the living water I give them, they will never thirst again and will be forever satisfied! For when you drink the water I give you it becomes a gushing fountain of the Holy Spirit, springing up and flooding you with endless life!” John‬ ‭4:13-14‬ ‭
